ישראל היא המקום החופשי האמיתי היחיד ברדיוס של מאות קילומטרים, ותל אביב שומרת על הגחלת של ישראל כמקום ליברלי של חופש אמיתי ולא רק בחודש הגאווה. עם זאת, מאז תחילת המלחמה המילה "חופש" קיבלה משמעות מצמררת בחיינו באופן כללי, גם כעת, לאור מה שקורה באיראן. גלריה פאן (על שמו של הפיאון המיתולוגי), הגלריה הראשונה (והיחידה) במזרח התיכון לאמנות של גייז, גאה להציג:

"חופש" - פופ-אפ חורף לוהט של אמנות גאה ישראלית מידי אמניות ואמנים מובחרים – סיבוב שני.

חרף העובדה שעירום גברי הוא עדיין טאבו בישראל אפילו שהשנה היא 2026, התערוכה "חופש" היא תערוכת פופ-אפ של אמנות ישראלית גאה שנסובה סביב אמנות הגוף הגברי ותרבות גייז.

התערוכה בשיתוף עם דיזנגוף סנטר - המרכז האייקוני של העיר הכי גאה תל אביב, המהווה הוט-ספוט של גייז מישראל והעולם כבר למעלה משלושה עשורים. אוצר: ארז ביאלר.

בתערוכה מוצגות יצירות מעשה ידי אדם בלבד בציור, איור, צילום, פיסול ומדיה מעורבת, המבטאות את החופש האולטימטיבי להיות, לחיות וליצור, גם במדינה לכאורה דתית-שמרנית כמו ישראל. אמניות ואמני הגלריה משתייכים לכל אורחות החיים ומגיעים מכלל רחבי ישראל, מקיבוצים בצפון, דרך ערי דרום מישור החוף והעוטף ועד לגוש דן, והייצוג האומנותי לשינוי שחל בנו בעקבות השנתיים האחרונות, בפרט מהזווית הגאה, בא לידי ביטוי בתערוכה זו.

Israel is the only truly free place within a radius of hundreds of kilometers, and Tel Aviv keeps the flame alive as Israel’s liberal city of genuine freedom—not only during Pride Month.
However, since the war broke, the word “freedom” has taken on a chilling meaning in our lives in general, and now also, in light of what is happening in Iran.
Pan Homo Art Gallery (named after the mythical faun), the first (and only) gallery in the Middle East dedicated to male and gay art, is proud to present:
“Freedom”—a hot winter pop-up of Israeli gay art by selected artists, round two.

Despite the fact that male nudity is still taboo in Israel—even in the year 2026—the exhibition “Freedom” is a pop-up exhibition of Israeli queer art centered on the art of the male body and gay culture.

The exhibition is presented in collaboration with Dizengof Center—the iconic center of Tel Aviv, the proudest city—serving as a hot spot for gays from Israel and around the world for more than three decades.

The exhibition features exclusively human-made works in painting, illustration, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, expressing the ultimate freedom to be, to live, and to create—even in a seemingly religious-conservative country like Israel. The gallery’s artists come from all walks of life and from across the country: from northern kibbutzim, through southern coastal cities and the Gaza envelope, to the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. The artistic representation of the changes we have undergone over the past two years—particularly from a queer perspective—is expressed in this exhibition.
